At our abortion clinic, we offer you safe and confidential services if you are looking to terminate your pregnancy. We are the only private clinic in Puerto Rico qualified to perform safe abortions up to the second trimester.

We offer surgical or medical abortions, depending on your needs and preferences. Our expert professionals are highly trained in performing safe procedures and have more than 20 years of experience to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.

As part of our mission to provide quality services, we also provide counseling and support to help patients make informed decisions and plan their health care. At Darlington Medical Associates we do not treat children 15 years of age or younger for pregnancy terminations.

These are the types of abortion we perform

medical abortion

For this type of abortion, two medications are used to perform the procedure in the privacy of the home. It is 98% effective and highly accepted by patients in Puerto Rico and the world. Medications to relieve pain and antibiotics to prevent infection are provided.

surgical abortion

It is a simple procedure that lasts 5-10 minutes. It can be performed under local anesthesia and/or sedation. It is a low-risk procedure for the health of the pregnant person. During the first trimester, the abortion is performed under local anesthesia. However, if sedation is desired, it will have an additional cost. While during the second trimester, the abortion is performed with sedation, which is included in the cost of the procedure. This type of abortion is 99% effective. As part of the procedure, patients receive pain management medications and antibiotics.
